PURPOSE OF MCC'S GOLF EVENT 

MCC's Golf Marathon Fund Raiser provides money for special projects that are not in the general operating budget.  2011 will mark our 18th Annual Golf Marathon/Captain's Choice Tournament.  Over the years, the marathon has raised over $285,000!  We are embarking on a major kitchen renovation, to be in compliance with new health department regulations, that is required to be complete by May 2012.  We are hoping for a bumper golf marathon year, to help cover some of the costs!  We hope you'll particpate with us!

HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED:

BE THE MAIN EVENT SPONSOR!

We are seeking one company to be the Main Event Sponsor.  In addition to the Corporate Underwriter benefits, we'll send out an additional advertisement about your company with our annual summer camp mailing.

BE A CORPORATE UNDERWRITER!

For just $500, you can be one of our underwriting businesses for this event!  We are looking for 10 businesses to donate $500.00 each to completely underwrite the event!  Your company will be recognized in several MCC mailings throughout the year as well as recognition at the golf marathon and on the back of the golfer's T-shirts.

SPONSOR THE HOLE-IN-ONE CONTEST!

For just $300 or so, your company can be recognized for sponsoring the Hole-In-One Contest.  In 2011, we hope to have a free car as the Hole-In-One prize.   

SPONSOR OUR DOOR PRIZES!

For about $500, you or your company can be recognized for providing the door prizes for this event!

BE A GOLFER!

Golf all day, for free! Just get friends, family, work associates, and businesses to sponsor you per hour, a one-time gift, a monthly gift, or a quarterly donation. (We collect the funds for you, later.)

BE AN AFTERNOON CAPTAIN'S CHOICE TEAM GOLFER!

Maybe you're not available during the morning hours, or maybe you don't think  you can raise $500.  Come out in the afternoon and bring a 4-some for just $800 four all four players.

BE A PROMOTION PERSON!

Help promote the marathon to golfers you know and/or help with donations, through friends, family, church and community.

BE A VOLUNTEER!

Help us the day of the Marathon, with set-up, pledges, meal and dessert preparations, snacks, or clean-up.
 

2012 GOLF MARATHON DETAILS
 

DATE: Tuesday, September 25, 2012

LOCATION:  Maple Leaf Golf Club, Kernersville, NC

TIME:  7:00 am until 6:30 pm (or dusk)

WHO IS WELCOME TO GOLF:  We are seeking golfers to raise funds ($500 or more) to join us along with one guest of their choice.  Corporate Underwriters are also able to be represented with 2 golfers from their organization.  All meals, snacks, prizes, and awards included!
